Grubb & Ellis|Memphis is a full service real estate brokerage and management firm providing acquisition, disposition, tenant representation and property management services to industrial, office, retail and land clients in the Memphis, Tennessee metropolitan area including northern Mississippi and eastern Arkansas.

EXPERIENCE
Grubb & Ellis|Memphis was founded in 2004 by Joe Steffner based on his twenty years of experience with the largest Commercial Real Estate firms in Memphis – Trammell Crow Company (13 years), CB Richard Ellis (4 years) and Colliers International (2.5 years). Joe was a partner with Colliers International, from May 2002 through November 2004, where he founded and was President and CEO of Colliers Management Services, LLC. Prior to Colliers, Steffner was Executive Vice-President of CB Richard Ellis, Memphis from April 1998 through March of 2002. Joe began his real estate career with Trammell Crow Company in 1985 where he served for thirteen (13) years as Partner and Sr. Vice President.

EDUCATION
Steffner earned his Master of Science (MS) degree in Real Estate Development from the University of Memphis in 1996, his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Memphis in 1994, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of Tennessee in 1983. In May, 2006 he earned the Education for Ministry Degree, a four year non-credit program through the Divinity School at the University of the South at Sewanee, TN.
